Thin lawns invite weeds. Overseeding introduces new grass into existing turf so it fills in dense and crowds weeds out. We match the seed blend to sun exposure and traffic.

For best results we core-aerate first, then seed and apply a starter fertilizer. Late August to September is the ideal window in Southern Ontario.

What is included

Overseeding: common questions

When is the best time to overseed?

Late summer to early fall, when soil is warm and nights are cool. Spring is the second-best option.

How long until I see results?

Germination starts within 7 to 21 days depending on the blend and watering. The lawn fills in noticeably over the following six weeks.

Lawn mowing

Clean, even cuts with trimmed edges and cleared walkways on every visit.
